Deliciously juicy Teriyaki pork chops, marinated and pan-fried to perfection in just 5 ingredients for an easy weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2.25 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 3 pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions:
  • Combine the teriyaki sauce, garlic salt, and pepper in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • Lay pork chops in a deep plate and drizzle 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce over them, ensuring all sides are coated. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade for later use.
  • Pat the chops gently with a paper towel to remove excess marinade before cooking. Discard any leftover marinade.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add chops to skillet, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes until browned. Flip, cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes until no longer pink inside. Ensure chops reach an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C) when measured with an instant-read thermometer.
  • Pour the leftover 1/4 cup of teriyaki mixture into the pan and let it simmer, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
