Easy and delicious oven-roasted broccoli, wrapped in foil for simple clean-up, perfect for picky eaters.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound small broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • sea salt to taste
  • fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a piping hot 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Toss broccoli florets with olive oil in a bowl until lightly coated. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place a large sheet of aluminum foil on a flat surface. Put the broccoli in the center and fold the edges to make a sealed packet.
  • After baking in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, carefully open the foil packet to reveal the broccoli. Generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for a savory finishing touch.
  • Place the packet back in the oven and bake until the floret tips become slightly blackened and the stalks turn greenish-brown, approximately 10 more minutes.
