Elevate potatoes with garlic, lemon, herbs, and a flavorful marinade of olive oil and white wine. Perfect for impressing guests at dinner parties.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.125 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Italian salad dressing
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
Instructions:
  • Combine lemon pepper, marjoram, basil, thyme, and rosemary in a small bowl. In another bowl, blend wine, water, olive oil, dressing, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and half of the herb mixture. Transfer to a medium glass baking dish. Add potatoes, ensuring they are coated with the mixture, then sprinkle with the rest of the seasonings. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Roast potatoes for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a preheated oven, remembering to baste them halfway through cooking.
