Try the classic Catalan breakfast favorite, Pan tomaca, a simple and delicious dish loved throughout Spain.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 2 slices crusty bread
  • 1 clove garlic, halved
Instructions:
  • Blend the tomato in a blender until smooth.
  • Toast the bread until golden brown, it should take about 1 to 3 minutes. Rub the garlic clove on each slice of toast, leaving the peel on for an easier process.
  • Spread a layer of fresh tomato puree on each slice of toast. Drizzle with high-quality olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of salt over the top.
