Quick and delicious stovetop pizza ready in 10 minutes – faster than delivery!
Ingredients:
  • 1 thin pizza base (we used a woodfired pizza base)
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 130g pasta sauce
  • 125g mozzarella, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 ml salted capers, rinsed, drained
  • 40.00 gm basil pesto
  • 4 slices prosciutto, torn
  • Basil leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large frypan over medium heat with a lid on. Brush oil on both sides of the pizza base and place it upside-down in the frypan. Cover and cook for 2 minutes before flipping it over.
  • Spread the flavorful pasta sauce evenly on the pizza base. Sprinkle the luscious mozzarella and tangy capers on top. Season generously. Cover the pizza and cook on medium-low heat for 5-6 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is perfectly crisp.
  • Transfer the pizza onto a serving board, generously drizzle the pesto over the top, and artfully scatter the prosciutto and fresh basil leaves to enhance the presentation before serving.
