Pan-Fried Corn with Sweet Butter and Black Pepper: A Simple, Speedy Weeknight Side Dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup unsalted sweet cream butter
  • 8 ears fresh corn, husked, or more to taste
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Cut kernels off corn cobs directly into the skillet using a knife. Scrape cobs with the back of the knife to extract any remaining corn "milk" and kernels into the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until corn is tender and heated through, approximately 10 minutes.
