Pan-fried salmon with creamy mustard dill sauce - a gourmet meal ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoons lemon juice, divided
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 0.75 cup heavy whipping cream, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Season the salmon with a dash of salt and pepper, then drizzle a bit of lemon juice over the top.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Combine butter and oil in the skillet until melted. Add salmon and pan-fry for 3 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until salmon is nearly done, for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle the rest of the lemon juice over one side of the pan. Sprinkle in mustard and dill, then mix well. Add cream and gently stir to combine, tilting the pan to coat the salmon fillets with the sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and serve the salmon with the delicious sauce.
