Easy pan-fried salmon patties with tangy sour cream dill sauce - perfect as appetizer or main dish!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 0.25 cup light sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare the patties by combining salmon, bread crumbs, onion, Dijon mustard, egg, and lemon juice in a bowl. Shape the mixture into two patties.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add patties and season with salt and pepper. Cook until lightly browned on the bottom, about 4 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce by combining sour cream, dill, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • After flipping the patties, sprinkle with a touch more salt and pepper. Let them cook until the other side is golden for about 4 minutes. Insert an instant-read thermometer into the center; it should show a minimum of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Serve with sauce.
