Panko Bread Crumbs elevate mashed potato cakes with a golden crisp exterior.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups chilled mashed potatoes
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten, (separate bowls)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 0.5 tablespoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup flour for dredging
  • 1 cup Kikkoman Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil for pan frying
Instructions:
  • Combine potatoes, egg, onion, and black pepper in a bowl. Shape into 8 patties and coat with flour, egg, and bread crumbs. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry patties until golden brown on both sides.
