Elevate canned tomato soup with fresh onion, garlic, basil, and Parmesan cheese. Adjust consistency with milk or water.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 10 leaves fresh basil, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, sauté onion and garlic in vegetable oil until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Add tomato soup and bring to a boil. Stir in Parmesan cheese, basil, and rosemary, then season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 to 10 minutes to meld flavors.
