Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Crispy oven-baked chicken perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) bottle Lawry's Herb & Garlic Marinade with Lemon Juice
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions:
  • Give the chicken a good wash, then gently dry it with a paper towel. Feel free to peel off the skin if desired.
  • Make 5 or 6 deep cuts in each chicken piece using a knife or fork. Place the chicken and Marinade in a large re-sealable plastic bag, removing excess air before sealing. Shake the bag gently to coat all pieces. Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a baking rack with oil or vegetable spray.
  • Spread the Parmesan cheese on a plate and blend in the garlic powder, paprika, and oregano.
  • Take out the chicken from the marinade, discard the used marinade, and shake off any excess liquid. Roll the chicken in the cheese to coat it. Place the chicken on a rack in a roasting pan. Bake in a 350 degrees F preheated oven until the meat is no longer pink and the juices run clear, about 40 to 45 minutes (internal temperature approximately 180 degrees F).
