Indulgent chocolate and custard-flavored bear biscuits - a delicious blend in every bite!
Ingredients:
  • 35g (1/4 cup) custard powder
  • 300g (2 cups) plain flour
  • 80g (1/2 cup) icing sugar mixture
  • 200g butter, chilled, coarsely chopped
  • 60.00 gm water
  • 30g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 2. Combine custard powder, half of the flour, icing mixture, and butter in a food processor. Pulse until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. 3. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of water and pulse until the dough starts coming together. 4. Transfer the dough onto a clean work surface and knead until smooth. 5. Shape the dough into a disc and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Next, combine cocoa powder, remaining flour, icing sugar, and butter in a food processor until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the remaining water and process until the dough begins to come together. Transfer the dough to a work surface, knead until smooth, shape into a disc, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • On a clean work surface, lay down a sheet of non-stick baking paper. Alternating between custard and chocolate dough, arrange the pieces on the paper and press them together to create a single dough piece. Cover with another sheet of non-stick baking paper and roll out to a thickness of 7mm. Line a large baking tray with baking paper for baking.
  • Cut biscuits from dough using an adorable 9cm-long teddy bear-shaped cutter. Chill on a lined tray in the fridge for 20 minutes. Bake until lightly golden underneath (12-15 minutes). Cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
