Pawpaw and pineapple with lime syrup

Whip up a quick and easy tropical fruit dessert with zesty lime syrup drizzled over ripe pineapple and paw paw for a refreshing and sweet delight.
Ingredients:
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 1 pawpaw
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 2 limes
Instructions:
  • Squeeze the juice from the halved limes into a cup through a strainer to collect 1/3 cup of juice.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, warm up the lime juice and honey until the honey has completely dissolved, stirring occasionally. Take it off the heat and let it cool slightly before using.
  • Slice the pawpaw in half lengthwise, peel it with a sharp knife, scoop out the seeds with a large metal spoon, and thinly slice the flesh.
  • Peel the pineapple, removing the eyes. Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise and slice thinly crosswise.
  • Place the assortment of fruit in individual serving bowls and generously drizzle with the refreshing lime syrup.
