Irresistible homemade peach and cream cheese torte, perfect for pleasing the whole family with its creamy, fruity filling and nutty crust.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.66666668653488 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 28 ounces peach slices, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and generously grease a 10-inch pie pan.
  • Prepare the crust by combining flour, pecans, butter, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl, then firmly press the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  • After baking for 5 minutes in the preheated oven, allow the dish to cool while keeping the oven temperature constant.
  • After the crust has cooled, prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and almond extract, and beat until smooth. Gently fold in peach slices. Spread the filling over the cooled crust and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Lower the temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and continue baking for 20-25 minutes.
