Blueberry peach cobbler: Juicy peaches and sweet blueberries baked with spiced biscuit topping for a warm, irresistible dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • 3 cups fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons coarse granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine flour, 1/2 cup white sugar, and baking powder in a medium bowl. Stir in milk and 1/4 cup butter until smooth.
  • Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and water in a medium saucepan. Stir in peaches and blueberries, then cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Add butter and lemon juice, cooking until butter melts. Pour mixture into a 1 1/2-quart ungreased baking dish. Spoon batter over the hot fruit. Mix coarse sugar and nutmeg in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the batter.
  • Put the baking dish on a shallow baking pan in the oven. Bake the cobbler for around 35 minutes until it's bubbly and a toothpick inserted in the crust comes out clean.
