Indulgent dessert bars merging juicy peaches, buttery cobbler, and creamy cheesecake for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury®
  • 0.5 cup peach preserves
  • 12 ounces Neufchatel cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3 large fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup melted unsalted butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Take the crescent dough and divide it into 2 rectangles. Arrange them in the prepared pan to create the crust, ensuring the bottom is completely covered by pressing the dough and sealing any perforations. Next, spread the peach preserves on top of the dough.
  • In a large bowl, combine Neufchatel cheese, sugar, eggs, and almond extract. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly over the preserve-covered dough and top with peach slices.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Pour in melted butter and mix with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden and firm, for 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars for about 30 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
