Whip up a delicious peach cobbler effortlessly by using a cake mix!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in light syrup, drained, 3/4 cup syrup reserved
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Melt butter in a 13x9-inch pan in the oven and pat peach slices dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, eggs, and 3/4 cup of reserved peach syrup until fully mixed. Spoon the batter over the butter in the pan, gently spreading it without stirring. Place peach slices on top of the batter.
  • After baking for 25 minutes, generously sprinkle pecans and sugar evenly on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 13 to 18 minutes until the edges turn deep golden brown and the center springs back lightly when touched. Let it cool for 30 minutes before serving warm or chilled.
