Whip up delicious Peanut Butter and Jelly Cake Bites using Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ vanilla cake mix to impress your guests.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Vanilla Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey-roasted peanuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease only the bottoms of two 13x9-inch pans with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare cake mix according to box instructions using water, oil, and eggs. Divide and spread batter evenly into the pans.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans on cooling racks. Run a knife around the sides of the pans to loosen the cakes. Invert a cooling rack over each pan, then flip them over to remove the cakes from the pans.
  • Lay one cake on a work surface or cutting board. Spread grape jelly evenly, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges. Place the second cake on top.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to whip together butter and peanut butter until smooth. Slowly mix in powdered sugar until well combined, then beat on high speed until fluffy. Spread the frosting over the cake and chill until set, around 1 hour. slice the cake into 24 squares, then cut each square in half diagonally. Finish by adding 3 peanuts on top of each cake bite.
