Indulge in a delectable peanut butter cake mix, perfect for peanut butter enthusiasts. Easily substitute milk for cream if needed.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package butter cake mix
  • 0.66666698455811 cup water
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 0.33333298563957 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a gentle 325 degrees F (165 degrees C), and generously grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a mixing bowl, whip together the creamy peanut butter and butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add eggs one at a time, ensuring thorough mixing after each addition. Alternate adding cake mix and water, gently stirring until just combined. Transfer the batter into the prepared pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
  • For peanut butter frosting: Cream together peanut butter and butter until fluffy. Mix in confectioner's sugar until combined. Add cream gradually until desired spreading consistency is reached.
  • Frost the cooled cake layers generously with frosting until fully covered and beautifully decorated.
