Irresistibly moist peanut butter cake with fudgy icing - a crowd-pleasing favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 4.75 cups confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Assemble all your delicious ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a rimmed baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking soda and whisk until well blended.
  • Use an electric mixer on low speed to blend the milk, eggs, and vanilla into the flour mixture until smooth.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, oil, and peanut butter. Cook and stir until smooth, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Combine the peanut butter mixture with the flour mixture until fully incorporated, then pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Create a luscious icing by melting butter and peanut butter together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until silky smooth.
  • Combine the milk and vanilla until blended.
  • Whisk confectioners' sugar into icing until smooth, for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle warm cake with icing and ensure even coverage.
