Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Indulge in a decadent twist on classic peanut butter cups with a luscious combo of brownie and peanut butter cookie mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 2/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips, melted, cooled
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Trim about 1/2 inch around the top of each of the 48 regular-size foil baking cups, then place one cup in each of the 48 regular-size muffin cups.
  • Combine Brownie Mixture ingredients in a large bowl until evenly mixed. In a separate large bowl, mix Cookie Filling ingredients until dough forms. Spread 1 measuring teaspoon of brownie mixture into each foil cup. Shape 1 measuring teaspoon of cookie filling into a 1-inch circle and place it on top of the brownie mixture. Finish by spreading 1 measuring teaspoon of brownie mixture over the cookie filling in each cup.
  • Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the edge comes out clean. Drizzle a generous teaspoon of melted chocolate on top of each cupcake, spreading it to the edges of the foil cup. Remove the cups from the pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
