Indulge in decadent peanut butter brownies loaded with chopped nuts and chocolate chips in every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • In a large bowl, mix sugar, peanut butter, shortening, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer. Add eggs one at a time, briefly beating after each addition. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until combined. Gently fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is dry and the edges are starting to pull away from the sides of the pan. Allow it to cool completely before slicing.
