Decadent marbled chocolate slab with creamy peanut butter swirls, an irresistible mid-week treat!
Ingredients:
  • Melted butter, to grease
  • 150g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 100g butter, chopped
  • 215g (1 cup) caster sugar
  • 75g (1/2 cup) plain flour
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 200g (3/4 cup) crunchy peanut butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C. Grease a 16 x 26cm slab pan with melted butter, then line the base and two long sides with non-stick baking paper, leaving some paper to hang over the edges.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir with a metal spoon until smooth and well combined.
  • In a bowl, blend sugar, flour, and cocoa powder. Mix in chocolate mixture and eggs until just combined. Transfer the mixture to a prepared pan. Dollop peanut butter over the brownie batter, then swirl with a round-bladed knife.
  • Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with crumbs clinging to it. Allow to cool completely, then slice and serve.
