Indulgent chocolate brownie infused with rich peanut butter for the ultimate flavor harmony.
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x9x2-inch square pan. In a medium bowl, combine sugars, butter, milk, and eggs. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Split the batter into two equal parts, which should be around 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons each. Mix peanut butter and peanut butter chips into one half, and cocoa and chocolate chips into the other half.
  • Drop chocolate batter by large spoonfuls into the pan to create 8 mounds in a checkerboard pattern. Add spoonfuls of peanut butter batter in between the chocolate mounds. Use a knife to gently swirl the two batters together for a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour. Cut into 16 brownies by making 4 rows by 4 rows.
