Exciting and unique pear and Gorgonzola cheese appetizer!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust dough
  • 4 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 Bosc pear, thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces chopped walnuts
  • 2.5 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • On a medium baking sheet, lay out the pizza crust dough. Add a generous layer of Provolone cheese. Arrange Bosc pear slices over the cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese.
  • Place in a hot oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown. Let it cool slightly, then garnish with fresh chives before slicing and serving.
