Pepper Strip Steaks with Lemon-Chive Butter

15-minute dinner: Grilled beef steaks with zesty herbed butter - delicious and quick!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons coarse ground red and black pepper blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 4 (1-inch-thick) beef top loin steaks (New York, Kansas City or strip steaks)
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill. Mix butter ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. Combine pepper blend and garlic salt in another bowl. Rub pepper mixture onto steaks evenly.
  • Grill steaks on gas or charcoal grill over medium-high heat for 8 to 12 minutes, turning once, until cooked to your liking. Serve with a pat of butter.
