Kid-friendly no-bake slice with banana-flavored Cadbury Perky Nana bars and crispy rice bubbles.
Ingredients:
  • 4 x 45g Perky Nana chocolate bars
  • 170g (18) choc ripple biscuits
  • 80g butter, melted, cooled, plus 70g, extra, chopped
  • 85g (1 cup) white marshmallows
  • 70g (2 cups) Rice Bubbles
  • 200g 45% dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • Place the unwrapped Perky Nana bars in the freezer until needed (refer to tip).
  • Prepare a 16 x 26cm slice pan by greasing it and lining it with baking paper, ensuring the paper extends over the two long sides.
  • Place the biscuits in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Pour in the melted butter and pulse until well combined. Press the mixture onto the prepared pan firmly using the back of a spoon. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes to set.
  • Cut each of the Perky Nana bars into three pieces, removing excess chocolate.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt 50g of extra butter. Add marshmallows and trimmed Perky Nana bars. Stir over medium-low heat until everything is melted and almost combined.
  • In a large bowl, create a well in the center of the Rice Bubbles. Pour in the marshmallow mixture and mix well to combine. Spread the mixture evenly over the biscuit base using the back of a spoon. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or until set.
  • Create a makeshift double boiler by putting the dark chocolate and remaining butter in a bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water (make sure the bowl doesn't touch the water). Stir until creamy. Spread the chocolate mixture on the slice, then sprinkle the remaining chopped Perky Nana bars on top. Chill in the fridge for an hour or until firm.
  • Gently pull up the baking paper to lift the slice out of the pan, then cut it into 15 delicious pieces before serving.
