Cheesy pesto tomato French bread appetizers. Ready in just 20 minutes for a taste of Italy.
Ingredients:
  • 12 slices (1-inch-thick) French bread
  • 2/3 cup pesto
  • 2 small tomatoes, seeded and chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and arrange bread slices on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Take each slice of bread and generously spread it with a delicious tablespoon of pesto. Add a layer of juicy tomatoes on top and finish off with a sprinkle of cheese.
  • Bake for approximately 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
