Elevate your pasta with zesty parmesan pesto for an explosion of flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 113.75 gm extra-virgin olive oil
  • 125.00 ml pine nuts
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1.20 gm salt
  • 500.00 ml firmly-packed basil leaves
  • 60g parmesan cheese, finely grated
Instructions:
  • In a small frying pan over medium heat, warm 1 teaspoon of oil. Add pine nuts and cook for 3 minutes. Pulse pine nuts, garlic, and salt in a food processor until thoroughly mixed.
  • Combine fresh basil leaves and the rest of the olive oil in the food processor until you have a textured paste. Season with freshly cracked black pepper and mix in Parmesan cheese. Toss the flavorful mixture with cooked pasta.
