Classic Southern pineapple casserole with Cheddar cheese, buttery cracker crust. Easy, sweet, savory, and fruity. Delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup white sugar, or to taste
  • 0.333 cup all-purpose flour
  • 40 buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Separate pineapple chunks and save 1/4 cup of the juice. Combine both in a large bowl.
  • Combine drained, crushed pineapple with cheese, sugar, and flour, mixing until well blended.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  • Combine the cracker crumbs and melted butter in a small bowl to create a delicious topping, then sprinkle it over the pineapple mixture.
  • Simply bake until golden brown, approximately 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
