Turn simple ingredients into tasty, low-fat fruity desserts for any night.
Ingredients:
  • 825g can whole plums, drained, halved, stones removed
  • 50g butter, chilled, chopped
  • 82.50 ml plain flour
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon
  • 125.00 ml pistachio kernels, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Arrange plum halves in a single layer on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Prepare topping: Combine ingredients in a bowl and rub together with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Sprinkle over plums, bake for 20 minutes, let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve with cream, custard, or ice-cream.
