Elevate this classic dish with hidden veggies for a nutritious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 pouch (4 oz) 100% carrot purée
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 package (3.5-oz size) sliced pepperoni (25 to 30 slices)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly grease a large dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Place dough on the cookie sheet and flatten it into a 15x10-inch rectangle. Bake for 8 minutes, then take it out of the oven.
  • Combine pizza sauce and carrot purée in a small bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over the partially baked crust, sprinkle with cheese, and top with pepperoni.
  • Bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is perfectly golden, about 6 to 10 minutes.
