Delicious appetizer for a fun night with friends.
Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
  • 200g 3 Cheese Blend
  • 3 marinated artichokes, quartered
  • 100g sliced pancetta, torn
  • Fresh (purple or green) basil leaves, to serve
  • 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 4.50 gm sugar
  • 270ml water, warm
  • 450g (3 cups) bread and pizza plain flour
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 27.30 gm extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, mix together the yeast, sugar, and 60ml (1/4 cup) water. Let it sit in a warm place for 10 minutes or until it becomes foamy.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt together, then create a well in the center. Add the yeast mixture, oil, and the rest of the water. Use your hands to blend everything until a dough forms. Transfer the dough to a work surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Grease a large bowl lightly with oil and place the dough inside. Cover with a clean tea towel and let it proof in a warm, draft-free spot for 2 hours or until it doubles in size.
  • 1. Preheat your oven to a sizzling 250C/230C fan forced. 2. Divide the dough into 4 portions and shape them into thin oval pizzas, ensuring the edges are slightly thicker than the centers. 3. Brush the dough with oil and sprinkle fragrant rosemary over the top. 4. Distribute the cheese, artichokes, and pancetta evenly over the pizzas. 5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is perfectly crisp and golden. 6. Serve the pizzas with a scattering of fresh basil leaves for a delightful finish.
