Delicious pork chops cooked in creamy onion sauce with spices - a hit with roommates and perfect for a feast night.
Ingredients:
  • 6 pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.75 cup chicken broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
Instructions:
  • Start by cooking the onion and garlic in sizzling butter until fragrant. Set aside. Trim any extra fat from the chops and season with salt and pepper. Sear the chops in the same skillet until golden brown; then drain any excess fat.
  • Reduce heat to low and gently mix in the aromatic bay leaf and savory chicken broth. Simmer covered for 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully. Carefully transfer the tender chops to a serving plate, ensuring they stay wonderfully warm for serving.
  • In a skillet, heat the juices until reduced by half. Stir in the sour cream, onion-garlic mixture, and paprika until well combined. Heat the sauce just until warmed through, being careful not to boil. Drizzle over the pork chops and enjoy!
