Create edible playing cards using markers for a playful poker night snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (16 oz) white candy melts or coating wafers
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 24 creme-filled vanilla sandwich cookies
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup gold decorator sugar crystals
  • Edible markers
Instructions:
  • Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with waxed paper.
  • Melt candy melts following the package instructions, then gently incorporate the oil.
  • Dip sandwich cookies in melted candy, allowing excess to drip off, then place on a cookie sheet. Allow the candy to firm up for about 20 minutes.
  • Brush each cookie's edge with corn syrup using a paint brush, then roll the edges in sugar crystals for a sweet finish.
  • Use edible markers to imprint numbers onto cookies to give them the look of poker chips. Chill in the refrigerator until you are prepared to serve.
