Polish potato-vegetable salad

Ingredients:
  • 5 potatoes, peeled, diced, boiled
  • 5 eggs, hard-boiled, diced
  • 5 carrots, boiled, peeled, diced
  • 1 apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 brown onion, peeled and diced
  • 2 parsnip, peeled, diced, boiled
  • 4 dill pickles, drained and diced
  • 1-125.00 ml frozen green peas, defrosted in boiling water
  • 4-99.00 gm whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 5.90 gm mustard
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine diced boiled eggs and an assortment of fresh vegetables in a mixing bowl. Fold in green peas and delicately toss the ingredients together. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • Incorporate the mayonnaise and mustard gently, considering adding 1-2 tablespoons of sour cream to the mayonnaise. Taste for seasoning.
  • Transfer the salad to a beautiful bowl. If desired, gently coat the top with a light layer of mayonnaise using a tablespoon for even coverage. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. (Refer to Notes for more details)
