Cook Time:
Sage and Parmesan elevate this classic pork burger into a flavorful delight.
Ingredients:
  • 450g pork mince
  • 30.00 ml finely chopped sage
  • 40.00 ml finely grated parmesan
  • 40.00 ml fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 lightly beaten egg
  • 6 bread rolls
  • Whole-egg mayonnaise, to serve
  • Baby spinach leaves, to serve
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. In a large bowl, combine pork mince, sage, grated parmesan, salt, cracked black pepper, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Mix thoroughly. Shape the mixture into 6 patties and place them on the baking tray. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until they are cooked through.
  • Split the bread rolls and toast until lightly golden. Spread them generously with whole egg mayonnaise. Place the bottom halves of the rolls on serving plates. Add the patties and baby spinach leaves on top. Finish with the remaining roll halves. Serve with lemon wedges and an extra dollop of whole egg mayonnaise.
