Delicious porridge with bananas, maple syrup, pecans, and dates. Just 8 ingredients to perfection!
Ingredients:
  • 200.00 gm traditional rolled oats
  • 515.00 gm milk
  • 500.00 gm boiling water
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 large banana, chopped
  • 4 large dates, chopped
  • 125.00 ml pecans, toasted, chopped
  • 27.00 gm maple syrup
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, mix oats, milk, boiling water, and salt. Heat over medium heat. Stir with a wooden spoon for about 5 minutes until the porridge boils and thickens to coat the spoon.
  • After turning off the heat, cover the pot and let the porridge rest for 10 minutes to allow it to cool and thicken slightly.
  • Ladle warm porridge into bowls and generously top with fresh banana slices, chopped dates, and crunchy pecans. Finish with a decadent drizzle of sweet maple syrup before serving.
