Try this quick and delicious cheesy mushroom and bell pepper pizza appetizer! Ready in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (6 ounces) fresh portabella mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
  • 1 package (10 ounces) ready-to-serve thin cheese pizza crust (12 inches in diameter)
  • 1/2 cup sliced Brie cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F. Remove mushroom stems and thinly slice the mushrooms.
  • In a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Add the bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Next, add the mushrooms, marjoram, and salt. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mushrooms are just tender.
  • Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet. Spread the mushroom mixture over the crust and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until hot and cheese is melted, then slice into thin wedges before serving.
