Cheesy herb potatoes, perfect side for any meal. Parboiled, baked with chervil, chives, and cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds small potatoes, scrubbed
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt, or to taste
  • 5 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chervil
  • 2 bunches fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1.25 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, submerge potatoes in salted water and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium-low heat until tender, for approximately 20 minutes. Drain potatoes.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously coat a baking dish with 1 teaspoon of butter for extra flavor.
  • Peel and halve potatoes, then place in baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter, sprinkle with coarse salt, chervil, and chives. Top with Gruyere cheese before baking.
  • Bake until the cheese is melted and lightly browned in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes.
