Indulge in these unique potato chip chocolate chip cookies; a perfect blend of salty crunch and sweet dark chocolate in a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or 1/2 teaspoon of fine table salt)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup very soft unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups lightly crushed potato chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl; whisk until well mixed and set aside.
  • Use an electric mixer to cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg until smooth. Add milk and vanilla, blend until well combined.
  • Combine potato chips and chocolate chips into the dough gently with a spatula. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until fully combined and the dough forms.
  • Cover the dough and refrigerate for around 30 minutes, or until you are ready to bake. Alternatively, use the dough right away if preferred.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Using rounded tablespoons, place dollops of dough on the baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced as the dough will expand while baking.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until the edges are lightly browned, approximately 12 minutes. Allow them to cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. For optimal results, ensure the cookies have completely cooled before serving.
