Garlic mashed potato flake coated crispy chicken tenders - a delicious and simple main dish or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (7.6 ounce) package garlic flavored instant mashed potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenders
Instructions:
  • Warm up the oil in a spacious skillet over medium heat.
  • As the oil warms up, whisk the milk and egg in one bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the instant mashed potatoes with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken tenders in the milk mixture, shake off excess, then coat in potato flakes. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
