Crispy golden spiralized potatoes air-fried with minimal oil - a delightful and beloved side dish!
Ingredients:
  • 2 russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Spiralize potatoes using the medium grating attachment on a spiralizer, then cut spirals with kitchen shears after 4 or 5 rotations.
  • Submerge potato spirals in a refreshing water bath for 20 minutes. Strain and give them a gentle shower. Embrace the potatoes in a cozy blanket of paper towels, ensuring they are perfectly dry.
  • Place potato spirals in a roomy resealable plastic bag. Drizzle with oil and add salt and pepper. Seal the bag and shake well to coat evenly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  • Arrange half of the potato spirals in the air fryer basket and cook until they turn golden, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C). Using tongs, toss the potato spirals in the fry basket. Cook until golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes, tossing occasionally.
  • Lower the temperature to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C) and continue frying the rest of the potato spirals.
