Indulge in flavorful Italian prawn spaghetti with a kick of chili and garlic.
Ingredients:
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 1 red onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 long red chilli, thinly sliced
  • 400g jar napoletana pasta sauce
  • 600g Deli Cooked Crystal Bay Prawns, peeled, tails intact
  • 62.50 ml small basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a generous amount of salted water until al dente, approximately 10 minutes. Remember to reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining.
  • In a large deep frying pan over medium heat, warm the oil. Sauté onion, garlic, and chili until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in the napoletana sauce and reserved cooking water, bring to a simmer. Add prawns and cook for 2 minutes until heated through. Add pasta and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Serve in bowls and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
