Master the art of homemade sushi with these easy steps!
Ingredients:
  • 200.00 gm sushi rice
  • 32.50 gm sushi seasoning
  • 8 nori sheets, quartered
  • 2 tsp wasabi paste
  • 1 large avocado, cut into strips
  • 1 large yellow capsicums, cut into strips
  • 32 cooked king prawns, peeled, deveined
Instructions:
  • Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear. Allow the rice to drain in a strainer for 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, cook rice and 1 cup cold water until it boils, then reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 12 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes. Transfer to a large dish and fluff rice with a spatula to break up lumps. Add seasoning gradually, mixing gently until rice cools.
  • Lay 1 sheet of nori, shiny-side down, on your palm.
  • Press a rounded teaspoon of rice along the center of the nori using damp fingers.
  • Spread a touch of zesty wasabi on sushi rice. Top with a succulent prawn, creamy avocado slice, and vibrant capsicum strip.
  • Shape nori sheet into a cone by folding it over.
  • Continue the same process with the rest of the ingredients to yield a total of 32 rolls.
