Delightful three-layer salad: Pretzel crust, creamy center, topped with strawberry Jell-O. Simply delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 0.75 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 4.5 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine crushed pretzels, margarine, and sugar in a medium bowl.
  • Spread the crushed pretzel mixture evenly on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish, then bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Let it cool before using.
  • Mix the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gently add the whipped topping and spread the mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel base.
  • Combine strawberry-flavored gelatin with boiling water in a medium bowl, then fold in fresh strawberries and let it cool for 15 minutes.
  • Gently drizzle the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese mixture and chill until firm, approximately 4 hours.
