Elevate your Sunday roast with this sensational side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 50g butter
  • 1 medium brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 11.80 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh sage leaves
  • 625.00 ml fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced, then grease two 12-hole mini muffin pans. Cut the prosciutto slices in half lengthways, then cut each half crossways to create 24 pieces. Line the sides of the muffin holes with the prosciutto slices.
  • In a sizzling pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, cook and stir for 3 minutes until soft. Mix in mustard, stir for 1 more minute, then remove from heat. Fold in sage and breadcrumbs, let it cool for 5 minutes. Finally, add eggs, stir well, and season with pepper.
  • **Spoon 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each prepared hole in the pan. Press down gently with the back of a spoon. Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.**
