Indulgent Pulled BBQ Pork Poutine: BBQ pulled pork on crispy fries, topped with cheese curds and tangy pickles.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (2 pound) pork shoulder roast
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 7 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups smoky barbeque sauce
  • 4 russet potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese curds
  • 1 cup diced bread-and-butter pickles
  • 1 sheet Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil
  • 1 Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liner
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill until it reaches a sizzling medium-high temperature.
  • Ensure each inch of the pork is generously coated with a symphony of salt and pepper.
  • In a large frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil until shimmering. Sear the pork shoulder on all sides for about 4 minutes each, until beautifully browned.
  • Add the pork to a slow cooker lined with a Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liner and pour in water and BBQ sauce. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
  • Shred the pork with two forks and keep it warm.
  • Lay out a large sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil and center the potato wedges on top.
  • Drizzle the remaining 6 tablespoons of olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and fold the foil to create a packet.
  • Grill the packet over medium-high heat for 25-30 minutes until the potatoes are nicely browned and tender.
  • Top the potato wedges with the pulled pork, cheese curds, and diced pickles for a delicious meal.
