Grilled Memphis-Style Sliders

BBQ pulled pork sliders with grilled beef patties, smothered in tangy barbecue sauce and topped with crunchy coleslaw.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons French onion soup mix (dry)
  • 8 mini burger buns (about 2 1/2 inches in diameter), split
  • 2 cups creamy coleslaw (from deli)
  • Barbecue sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your gas or charcoal grill. Combine ground beef and dry soup mix in a medium bowl. Form the mixture into 8 uniform patties.
  • Grill patties in a grill basket over medium heat, covering it for 8 to 10 minutes. Flip once, ensuring the meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 160°F.
  • Lay patties on bottom bun halves and quickly add 1/4 cup coleslaw and a dollop of barbecue sauce on each. Place top bun halves on top.
