Creamy pumpkin pasta sauce adds a fall twist to classic alfredo.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 9 sage leaves
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the sage leaves in the hot butter until it infuses with sage flavor, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine cream, pumpkin puree, nutmeg, cinnamon, and Parmesan cheese with the butter and cook until the cheese is melted, approximately 5 minutes.
